Redemption is in the eye of the Polaroid

Spurred on by Polaroid's final demise Redemption founder and creative director, Nigel Wingrove, has been plowing through our archives in search of some interesting polaroids from Redemption's visual history and we are displaying a brief selection from our 'Golden Age' below.
As the final cartridges of polaroid come to an end next month with the last batches of Polaroidreach their use-by-date the Atlas Gallery in Dover Street, London W1 is planning an exhibition offamous celeb polaroids featuring the work of artists like Andy Warhol and Helmut Newton. Whilst Redemption's may not have shot Kate Moss or Peaches Geldof we did photograph hundreds ofbeautiful women on polaroid doing weird and wonderful things. This is our tribute to the 3 inch square.
This was taken for a series of Naziploitation ideas I was working on. The blond 'victim' was a top glamour model. Taken about 1996/7.
I can't remember this models name but the picture was for our UK release of 'In the Folds of the Flesh' and was taken around 1996/7.
This is a 1996 or 1997 shot of Australian model Rochel modeling for the Dutch cover of our uncut video release of 'What Have You Done to Solange?'.
I can't actually remember what this was taken for, though I know that the girl was meant to be inside a box. Probably 1998. Not published.
This was for a French film that was planned to be released on our Jezebel label though unfortunately it was never used. 1996 or '97.
Polaroid: Exp 09.10.09’, October 9 to November 28, at the Atlas Gallery, 49 Dorset Street, London W1
