A horror film made for just $15,000 (about £9000) has taken over $7 million on its opening weekend in the US. Centred on a young couple who move into their first starter home and become convinced that their bedroom is haunted they set up video cameras to try and catch it. The result is scary and compelling and the internet chatter on Facebook, Twitter and similar sites drove a natural viral marketing campaign that is proving to be one of the most successful ever.
